Higher efficiency and better experience with smart automation

If we have learned anything in recent years, it is that agile and flexible companies have a greater chance of being successful. The world is constantly changing, and companies need to move along. Reason enough to look for ways to work more efficiently and effectively. Investments in automation are on the rise, with the aim of doing more with less and accelerating digital transformation. In addition, employee and customer engagement is crucial. In this blog, Kyung de Jong-Dijkman, Salesforce Administrator at Vloeiend IT, zooms in on these trends.

The trend: Do more with less

Companies aim at saving cost and improving efficiency, especially in uncertain economic times, I recently read in this article. (Hyper-)automation plays a crucial role in achieving these goals. For example, Gartner predicts that by 2024, hyper-automation will help organizations reduce operational costs by a third. Organizations that are able to embrace this trend experience less disruption.

The trend: Total Experience = optimal customer experience and optimal employee Experience

Another trend is the focus of leading organizations on Total Experience (TX). Research shows that more and more senior IT leaders are evaluated based on employee experience (46 percent). That is almost the same percentage as the group that is rated based on customer experience (48 percent). Total Experience (TX) is a strategy to improve the journeys of both customers and employees, especially in the areas where they intersect. Gartner predicts that by 2026, as many as 60 percent of organizations will use TX to transform their business models and achieve “world-class customer and employee satisfaction.”
