Stop wasting time searching for files

Never waste time searching for files any longer, wouldn’t that be great? In this blog, Auke Jutjens, Salesforce Consultant & Partner Vloeiend IT, explains how you can always quickly locate your files.

Logical right?

This may sound all too familiar: you have an appointment with a customer and are in a terrible hurry. You have to get in the car now, but where are your keys? You are certain that you put them over there, but your partner has put them conveniently away. In a place that doesn’t make much sense to you. The same thing happens in the office, with files. In which folder was that one document again? A colleague once came up with a folder structure that doesn’t match your way of thinking at all.

The customer at the center

We believe that you shouldn’t be bothered at all in which folder you store your files. After all, almost every organization thinks in terms of customers. That’s also why you chose Salesforce. So why should you search in a folder structure that is organized in a completely different way: by project name, by document type or according to any other structure? It doesn’t make sense to work with two different structures. If you can store your documents efficiently in Salesforce, with the right customer, in a place that makes equal sense for everyone, isn’t that much smarter? Especially if you can do so without having to download files first and then upload them to Salesforce again after editing. A painstaking process that causes you to waste a lot of valuable time. Time that is better spent with your customers.

The best of both worlds

Salesforce ensures that you can easily find information, FILE 365 ensures that you can open and edit your Microsoft 365 files directly from Salesforce, including all smart functionalities.
